The Coaching Process

As your coach, I will partner with you to design your vision for the future. Together we will develop a personalized approach best suited to your goals. The first step is to assess your current situation in order to identify key strengths as well as areas of development. Areas of development will be addressed to increase your skill set. Values clarification may then be completed. Some of your values change over your life span and it is important to ensure that your current career is aligned with those values. Knowing your current values will assist you in developing a more fulfilling career path. Next we will explore possible goals you have for the next year; manage any potential obstacles and develop personalized action steps to reach your goals. At the end of the process, you will create a vision plan for the next year, including who your clients are, how many hours you will work and how much money you expect to make. Having a specific vision will motivate you to successfully move forward with your next chapter.

Various assessment tools may be utilized in the coaching process, such as the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator, a 14 page report designed to determine how you process information; EQ-i to assess emotional intelligence, such as confidence; and the Strengths Finder 2.0 to identify your 5 major strengths and correspond them to various career paths.

This is an exciting process that considers you as a unique individual who has been successful in life and who is ready to embrace your next meaningful chapter.
